I think of vanishing point (1971 film) as concerned with modes of protest - to challenge imposed order through action; to flight, to evade, to retract/withdraw, to think, to voice, to be principled, to sacrifice, to 'demonstrate', to choose, to do. I am thinking of how art has a discursive space for protest within its academic operations.
